Welcome to Pantry. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and services. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Pantry, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may modify these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. By using the app, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Account Registration

You can sign in via Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your credentials confidential.
• All activity under your account.
• Notifying us of unauthorized access.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Services

Free Features

• Manual pantry item entry and barcode scanning.
• Expiration reminders and item tracking.

Premium Features

• AI recipe suggestions and ingredient substitutions.
• Gmail receipt import.
• Nutrition tracking and detailed analytics.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Monthly: $4.99/month
• Annual: $29.99/year

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in your device settings. Refunds follow Apple App Store policies.

6. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store and process it for service delivery.

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access.
• Reverse engineer or decompile the app.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse features or trials.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive class action participation.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
